Thank you for wonderful post. I have question regarding MetaStoreEventListener. I implemented your code and have used only hive-exec in pom.xml without dependency packaged. With the same approach hive hook is working but not the event listeners. Also I am adding jar temporary through beeline session. Do you know what I might be doing wrong?
